A patio or walkway is the hardest-working part of a yard, and it’s also the least forgiving to build. Freeze-thaw in this valley finds every shortcut — skimp on the base and the surface goes wavy in two winters.
We build paver patios, walkways, and fire pit areas on full compacted gravel bases, graded to drain away from the house. Edges are cut and restrained so nothing creeps. The result is a surface that stays flat and tight through the seasons this climate throws at it.
Hardscape rarely happens alone. We can rework sprinkler lines around the new patio, run a sleeve for future wiring, and finish the surrounding beds and rock in the same project — one crew, one quote.

FAQs
The base. Pavers on a few inches of loose fill will heave and settle with every freeze. A properly excavated, compacted base is most of the labor in our installs — it's what keeps the surface flat through Cache Valley winters.
Concrete is cheaper up front but cracks, and a crack is forever. Pavers flex with freeze-thaw, and a settled spot can be lifted and re-laid. For patios and walkways here, pavers hold up better and look better doing it.

Yes — that's the point of doing it with a landscaping company. Walkways, beds, rock, lighting sleeves, and sprinkler adjustments all get handled in the same job.
